•FACTOR AND BERGMANN OPEN SKUNK IN NEW YORK> Stink, London EP Daniel Bergmann has partnered with former Furlined EP Matt Factor to launch a new production company for the US market called Skunk. The new company, which is divided into commercials, digital and long format divisions, will rep several Stink directors Stateside. Skunk's roster includes Arno Salters, Ben Dawkins, Gaelle Denis, James Brown, Martin Krejci, Ne-o, Pekka Hara, Peppermelon, Warren & Nick as well as French director Yann Demange for long format. Stephen Brierley, formerly head of production at Stink, crosses the pond to take on the same role at Skunk.
•Q&A: SAATCHI, LA ECD MIKE MCKAY> As the group creative director and copywriter at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Mike McKay has shown that he is as comfortable writing up-close-and-personal narratives as he is epic humor. Compare Hewlett Packard's The Computer is Personal Again campaign, where he detailed the computer-assisted creative lives of director Michel Gondry, designer Vera Wang and rapper/producer Pharrell Williams, to a spot such as Comcast "Rabbit," which chronicles the evolution of a bionic bunny. Now, McKay is set to bring that range to Saatchi and Saatchi, Los Angeles in his new role as executive creative director. Read more • RASMUSSEN GOES TO BBH, NEW YORK> Robert Rasmussen has
left digital agency R/GA for BBH, New York, where he will take up the
newly-created post of executive creative director of innovation.
Sixteen months ago, he moved from JWT to oversee all of R/GA's work for
Nike+, NikeID, Nike Football, Nike Basketball, Nike Running and Nike
Women. At BBH, Rasmussen will "ensure that innovation is central to all
aspects of our creative output," according to a statement from the
agency. He will report to BBH CCO Kevin Roddy. •SID LEE DEBUTS CAMEO-CRAZY ADIDAS ORIGINALS SPOT> Montreal-based Sid Lee has created a minute-long commercial for Adidas Originals, the agency's first major spot for the brand since it became lead creative agency on the account in July, 2008. The spot, directed by Nima Nourizadeh, is called "Celebrate" and takes place at a star-studded house party in Los Angeles. David Beckham, The Ting Tings, Method Man and Estelle - all wearing adidas - cameo. Watch it in the screening room. •DUBAI LYNX NAMES TWO JURY PRESIDENTS> Organizers of the
3rd Dubai Lynx Awards have appointed Richard Beaven, worldwide CEO of

President respectively. •THURSTON MOORE HOSTS BOWIE MUSIC VIDEO RETROSPECTIVE> Music videos fans take note: To celebrate a recent gift of music videos from the David Bowie Archive, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York will screen a series of the rock icon's videos on Monday, December 1. The program, which will be hosted by Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, will feature videos created in collaboration with celebrated music photographer Mick Rock.
